WELCOME TO MY NEW BLOG !
Let's start with my day.
I woke up at 6.15 am today and went into the shower. After that, I got ready to go to school. Once I am ready, I sat down on the dining table to have my breakfast. I had a change of menu today. Instead of eating cereal like I always did, I ate bread. It was delicious. After a very delicious 15 minutes, I took my bag and set off for school. I went out of my house at 7.00 am.
I walked slowly on my usual route, looking everywhere to spot any familiar faces. Unfortunately, there was not anyone familiar, so I continued on my journey to school alone. After a long 20 minutes, I finally reached my destination. I thought that we can assemble back as a school, but unfortunately, no. We still had to go back to our own respective class. Anyway, today marks the start of the Common Test 2. I felt a little nervous but I told myself that I can do it and my nervousness level went down.
I reached class and waited for my form teacher to arrive. When she arrived, the whole class settled down and then we were asked to take our temperature as a precaution to the H1N1 virus. After the temperature taking exercise, we sang the National Anthem and said the pledge. It is the same routine every day. We then got ready to take our test. For today, it is English Comprehension. The test lasted for 40 minutes.
The test was okay, I guess. It was neither too difficult nor too easy. However, there were some questions that I did not know how to do. Overall, it was neutral.
After the test was Chemistry. We did titration today. We had been doing titration as our Science Practical Assessment (SPA) is coming up in two weeks' time. Today's titration was different from other titrations that we did. Today was more difficult as it requires more steps and the substance used has colour, rather than the colourless solution we had been using. Fortunately, I still managed to do it.
Then, it was Mathematics. We had another test but it was not bad after all except for a few parts.
Then it was recess. I ate Mee Soto.
After that, it was Combined Humanities. We went to the usual ITRR3 and I felt great as there was air-conditioning there. We went through the worksheets and revised topics for tomorrow's test.
Then, it was English. For English, we went through the set of notes for personal recount and also did a few practices on it. As a motivation, we had a little competition. Those who got full marks for the practice will receive a little something from our English teacher. I managed to get one of the practices a full score.
The school bell marking the end of school rang and i could see wide smiles on my classmates' faces. It was the favourite time of the day. I do not deny it.
I went to the library with my group of friends to study for tomorrow's Social Studies test and also do our homework. And then, we headed home.
I am quite nervous for tomorrow's test as we have to study a lot for Social Studies and I think that the forty minutes allocated for us for the test will not be enough. However, I keep telling myself that I WILL be able to do it and I should not worry myself.
